About

We are a church family in Gravette, Arkansas, gathering to worship, grow in faith, and care for one another.

Our Mission

Following Jesus together. Sharing His hope with our neighbors.

At Beacon Baptist Church, our mission is to point people to Jesus Christ and help one another live out our faith each day. We want to be a church where God’s Word shapes our lives, people find encouragement and belonging, and the love of Christ reaches beyond our doors into Gravette and the world.

A Faith That Shapes Everyday Life

We gather to worship God, pray, and learn from the Bible, then carry what we learn into our homes, workplaces, and relationships. Our desire is to honor the Lord through lives marked by gratitude, obedience, and trust in Him—in ordinary moments as well as Sunday worship.

Growing Together in God’s Word

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. Through Bible teaching, honest questions, prayer, and encouragement, we seek to help people understand the gospel and become more mature in their faith. Whether someone is exploring Christianity or has followed Christ for years, we want to walk alongside them as they learn to know Him more deeply.

A Church Family That Cares

We want people to be known, welcomed, and supported. As a church family, we seek to listen well, pray for one another, share life’s joys, and offer practical care in difficult seasons. Each person has opportunities to use their gifts, build meaningful friendships, and help others experience the love of Christ.

Hope Shared Beyond Our Doors

The good news of Jesus is meant to be shared. We seek to speak about Him with grace, serve our neighbors with humility, and encourage the work of the gospel near and far. Through everyday relationships and willing service, we want our community to see the hope we have in Christ.

Our Beliefs

Rooted in Scripture. Centered on Jesus. Lived out together.

These convictions shape how we worship, learn, and care for one another. They offer a starting point for understanding our faith and for conversations about what it means to follow Christ.

The Bible Guides Our Faith

We receive the Bible as God’s inspired and trustworthy Word. Through its Old and New Testaments, we learn who God is, what He has done for us, and how He calls us to live. Scripture is the foundation for our teaching and the measure we use to examine our beliefs and choices. We seek to read it carefully, understand it faithfully, and put its truth into practice.

One God, Forever Faithful

We worship one God, eternally Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He created all things and remains holy, wise, loving, and just. God is greater than we can fully understand, yet He invites us to know Him. As our heavenly Father, He cares for His children, hears their prayers, and guides them with wisdom and love. We can trust His character in every season of life.

Jesus Is Our Savior and Lord

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who came into the world as a man while remaining fully God. He lived without sin, gave His life on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. Through Him we can be forgiven and brought into a restored relationship with God. Jesus is alive today, and we look forward to His return. Following Him is at the heart of Christian faith.

The Holy Spirit Works Within Us

The Holy Spirit draws people to Christ, helps us recognize our need for forgiveness, and brings new spiritual life to those who believe. He lives within believers, helps us understand Scripture, and shapes our character to become more like Jesus. He also comforts, guides, and equips us to serve. We depend on His work as we pray, grow in faith, and care for others.

Salvation Is God’s Gift of Grace

All of us have sinned and need the forgiveness that only God can give. We cannot earn salvation through good deeds, church attendance, or personal effort. It is a gift received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. God forgives us, welcomes us into His family, and begins a new life within us. As we follow Jesus, He continues to grow us in holiness, with the lasting hope of life in His presence.

We Follow Jesus Together

The church is a community of believers who belong to Christ and encourage one another in faith. We gather to worship, learn from the Bible, pray, and serve. Baptism publicly expresses a believer’s faith in Jesus, and the Lord’s Supper helps us remember His sacrifice. These acts point us to Christ; they do not earn salvation. Our shared life should reflect His love through humility, generosity, forgiveness, and care for our neighbors.

You do not have to have every question answered before you visit. If you would like to talk about faith, baptism, or becoming part of the church, we would love to hear from you.
